of crazy. I keep telling myself I can get through it! I have been so bad at posting my sessions this fall. I do post small sneak peeks on FACEBOOK, but it’s been harder to blog!

Kaylie - Today in my photography class we watched a video of YOU on a family shoot!!!! It was the shoot with the two girls layla and the dad with the glasses and the mom was pregnant. I loved watching it! You are such a great photographer and have my kind of style! Love these photo’s!!:)

This is Skye Johansen (yes the famous baby whisperer). I got to photograph her perfectly cute little family & yes they are as cool as they look. I love Skye for the following reasons.

1. she is awesome.
2. she likes pictures.
3. she wears cool boots.

There are plenty more reasons but I don’t want to make her head big.

Farm Fresh Jessica - Lovely! I showed my husband the picture of him kind of tipping her & kissing her & the photo is from the top of her head to see if he would have embarrassed to do that. (he’s kind of shy) He asked me if those were engagement shots–I thought that was a pretty awesome testament to the love there–four kids later & someone thinks those are engagement pictures!

Jill - Wow! This family is gorgeous! I’ve never left a comment before but I just had to – the beauty made me do it! I would be ecstatic to get pictures like this from a photographer! The one amazing detail I noticed was how beautifully Skye’s eyelashes look. Good grief!! If those are really yours I am jealous beyong belief and if they’re not I want to know how you did it because they look 100% au natural. I’ve never seen such long eyelashes on anyone. Gorgeous!

Skye - @ Jill-Oh how I wish those were my eyelashes! I was buying some makeup at MAC and saw some fake eyelashes and thought what the heck! The girl told me to put on mascara and then apply the eyelashes. A relative of mine used to wear fake ones and they were always falling off when she blinked and it scared me, so I’ve never tried them because I always remember how out of control hers were. But they were fun and I definitely will be using them more often!
The coat is from Forever 21 ($25) and the scarf is from Nordstrom ($18)
@ Jessica-My husband has a very hard time being in pictures, he is super shy, but I asked him to do whatever Angie asked as a present for our 11th anniversary. He took the offer since it’s free for him! And it was more than worth it for me! ;)

I took my kids out for an impromptu photo shoot yesterday… and I am so glad I did. I threw together their outfits (although I had Tate’s all thought out for a session all by himself) and ran out the door with my hubby in tow. So there is really nothing better than being able to take photos of my little ones. I am on a total high today looking at these photos. I am so lucky to have them in my life & even though raising kids is the hardest job I will ever have, it is all worth it. Seeing their little faces look back at me every day with wonder is my favorite of all. They are growing up so fast. Especially now that the twins are in kindergarden I can see it measurably. Milo is the light of our lives, he brings us all together. Hope you all are enjoying your fall with all of your families:)

I’ve just had the absolute pleasure in looking through some of your photos on your blog. WOW. Im a photographer in Australia and am a mum of 2 (twin girls) so I particularly LOVE photos of kids. Can I ask what camera and editing software you’re using? Your photos are GORGEOUS! If I could aspire to being 1/4 as good – I’d be completely happy. :) But any help from fellow photographers is always welcome. Your kids and families all look like models – you must have a lot of very happy clients where you are! Wish we were local so we could come get ours done too!!
