Well Hello cute family!

Seriously I LOVE these people. Well, I didn’t really know all of them until the shoot but I LOVe them now! They were all so happy and fun to work with. It is such a challenge shooting a large group and trying to be creative and posing eveyone… not to mention to just everyone looking at you without blinking..!!! BUT… This family was up for anything… can you tell?

On a side note. I am moving tomorrow to Sugarhouse! Can’t wait to have my house magically unpacked and sparkling.
More Christmas cards in a few days!

Pay close attention to the running ones… grandpa cracks me up and poor crying Milo in the background:(

This has to be my favorite extended family shoots I’ve seen. You did an amazing job with the variety of poses, getting them to be natural and playful, the location is gorgeous, and their clothing is beautiful! You need to write a post with tips on big family reunion shoots. :)

laneJuly 29, 2010 - 5:15 am

These are so great! How did you get them all to dress so fun and coordinated?? Did you guide them, or did they just have the fashion sense themselves??

KristiJuly 29, 2010 - 2:49 pm

well hello fabulous dressers!!! Not sure what guidance you gave them, but wow, did they ever nail the dress code! Fabulous images, Angie. Just spectacular

Brenda CarpenterJuly 30, 2010 - 7:04 pm

love your images — I am often asked to photograph large groups outdoors and understand all of the challenges, too! can I ask you what kind of lighting you use — any on or off camera flash, etc…? I find it usually doesn’t work with just natural light and I need to supplement in some way. thanks for sharing! (I’ve bought your products in the past and love them:)

Kristen DukeJuly 31, 2010 - 1:50 pm

SO much fun! I need each of the women to pipe in and tell us where they got their dress/cardigans. Love all their colors!!!
